Blood in the Bad Lands

Long time no post.

I have been finding it hard to find time for gaming/writing on here with my current constraints. However, I have been able to find some now so I thought I would spend the time to write up what I have been doing.

I have started to continue to paint my Tau as I would like to have a painted 40K army, as I have been having less KOW and starting to pick up more 40K. That is a story for another time!

In this post, it will be focusing on what is going on currently, which is a Blood in the Bad Lands campaign. This campaign is it being hosted by Wil and ran by Ryan using 8th ed Warhammer Fantasy rules along with triumph and treachery/Siege rules and the Blood in the Bad Lands books.

With this in mind there was a great difficulty in picking an army that would fit in with the Bad Lands. I ended up choosing a Raiding forces of Dark elves with the rest of the people taking the following:

Robert            Gorks and Oblins Destruction
Greg               Dark Elves         Destruction
Adam             Dwarves                 Order
Nathan           Dwarves                 Order
Wil               Tomb Kings         Neutral
Ryan              Vampire Counts Destruction
Gareth           Ogres                         Neutral
Hugh             Chaos Demons         Destruction
Leon              Chaos Demons         Destruction

There is one person missing from the list as Sass is also playing but I am unsure what he is taking.

There are 3 lists that are needed for each and you will see that below is a link that will allow you to view them as I keep getting copies of everyone's lists.

We have gone through the process of picking a territory and moved the armies on the board and selected the first rounds of battle that will be occurring.

Something a little exciting occurred for my first fight which is that my first battle will be a 3 way triumph and treachery one against Ryan and Gareth.

I didn't take any pictures of the board and will get some soon.

Next up the battle report...
